Hey guys this time i am going to introduce a another place called Gangnani.

Gangnani is a small town situated 46 kms from uttarkashi on the rout to gangotri. Gangnani is an ideal destination for the spiritually inclined and those seeking peace of mind being a perfect spot for meditation, Gangnani acts as an ideal retreat for the natural lovers who are exploring the uttarkashi district of uttarakhand state. 

Gangnani affords stunning mountain views surrounded near gangotri. Famous for its thermal water spring, Gangnani is a perfect place for rejuvenation. The thermal water spring at gangnani is called Rishikund. 


Most of the devotees take holy dip in this natural hot water spring heading towards gangotri. There are separate kunds for both men and women.

Hey guys this time i am going to introduce a holy and amazing lovely wonderful Hindu's Tirath Yatra which is known as Gangotri yatra, Gangotri is a town in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and origin of River Ganges. It is on the Greater Himalayan Range, at a height of 3,100 metres (10,200 ft).

Before proceeding for Maa Gangotri Temple which is situated on the bank of Bhagirathi river pilgrims used to take a bath in the water of Bhagirathi river water is too cold here and the flow of river is amazing.

Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganges and seat of the goddess Ganga, is one of the four sites in the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit. The original Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa. The river is called Bhagirathi at the source and acquires the name Ganga (the Ganges) from Devprayag onwards where it meets the Alaknanda. The origin of the holy river is at Gaumukh, set in the Gangotri Glacier, and is a 19 km trek from Gangotri.

By Train. The nearest railway station is Rishikesh, which is well connected to Dehradun and Delhi.


By Road. There are daily bus services from Gangotri to Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun.
